All of Iowa, Winter Weather

Snowfall Update #4 (4/5/09)

aprilsnow2Here is the latest snowfall accumulations thus far. All the Blizzard Warnings have been cancelled. Most of the state is under either a Winter Weather Advisory or a Winter Storm Warning. Moderate to heavy snow with some thunder continues in western and central Iowa at midday. Accumulations have been anywhere between 3-8 inches where it has snowed. Iowa Falls and Williams have recieved 7 inches with Hubbard recieving 6. Meanwhile the eastern part of the state, the precipitation has stayed as rain for the most part with some of the showers producing pea to at times penny sized hail.
