The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Winter Storm Watch which will go into effect Monday night and be in effect until Tuesday evening for the following counties, Lyon, Osecola, Dickinson, Sioux, O’Brien and Plymouth. A storm is expected to move into the state Monday night, while most of the state will recieve rain with this system, the northwestern part of the state will likely see snow. Accumulations could be significant. With strong winds behind the storm, near blizzard conditions could result Tuesday across the Watch area.
