Watches Issued

The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a Winter Storm Watch that begins at 1PM Saturday and expires at 7am Sunday morning for the following counties, Dubuque, Jones, Jackson, Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine, Scott, Washington, Louisa, Jefferson, Henry, Des Moines, Van Buren and Lee.

SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY NIGHT. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS MAY OCCUR IF THUNDER-SNOWS DEVELOP. THE SNOW MAY BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES REDUCING VISIBILITY TO LESS THAN A QUARTER OF A MILE.
