The next storm, slated to move into Iowa Friday night may bring significant amounts of rain and snow to the state. Right now the heaviest band of snow is expected to fall in the eastern and southeastern parts of the state. Amounts are too early to call at this time. The storm will exit the state on Saturday evening, to be followed by another system moving in Monday which could also bring a rain snow mix to the state. Temperatures will remain below average for at least the next week.
