Some light showers have been moving through the state this afternoon. Amounts have been light. At 5pm a band of light rain extended from Cresco to Oelwein to Cedar Rapids to Washington with another band of rain from Northwood to Humboldt to Storm Lake. The rain will move out early this evening and skies will clear. Another chance of rain will move in tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night with the best chances of showers and thunderstorms moving in late Sunday through Tuesday with heavy rain possible.
