Periods of light rain will move across the state today, as of late this morning, the heaviest rain (albeit still light) was in SW Iowa moving east. There is some other pockets of light rain scattered about as well. As stated before, amounts will be light, generally under a tenth of an inch. The big difference from yesterday to today is the temperature. Readings today will be 15-20 degrees cooler than the highs reached yesterday. Temperatures will stay in the 50s to around 60 for the rest of the week with the next big chance of rain coming on Friday and then again early next week.
