The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory which goes into effect at 4am Tuesday morning and expires at 5pm Tuesday afternoon for Monona County and another winter weather advisory goes into effect at 7am and expires at 7pm Tuesday evening for the following counties, Plymouth, Cherokee, Buena Vista, Woodbury and Ida and another winter weather advisory goes into effect at 7am and expires at 10pm for the following counties, Lyon, Osceola, Dickinson, Sioux, OBrien and Clay. Snowfall accumulations will range between 2-4 inches before the snow ends Tuesday evening. Bitter winds will follow in the wake of the storm bringing wind chills down below zero by Tuesday night.
