The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory that will go into effect at Midnight tonight and will be in effect until 4pm Sunday for the following counties, Calhoun, Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Winnebago and Worth. Freezing rain and sleet will develop tonight and switch over to all snow early Sunday morning. Ice accumulations will generally be under a tenth of an inch. Snowfall accumulations will range from 3-5 inches near the Minnesota border with lighter amounts further to the south.
