Possible 70s?

Morning readings across the state are in the 30s and 40s, way above the average for this time of year. Temperatures today will climb into the 50s and 60s across the state. A 70 degree reading is not out of the question especially in south central Iowa from Des Moines down to Lamoni. Friday will be slightly cooler with readings in the 50s and lower 60s before a storm system moves in bringing showers and thunderstorms to the state. There is a possiblity of some heavy rain with this storm with some locations receiving an inch of rain or more. Some of the precip may switch over to snow on Sunday, especially in NW Iowa.
