Temperatures this morning fell below zero at Mason City (-1°), while Estherville and Spencer fell to 0°. The rest of the state had single digit lows except the Des Moines metro, SW Iowa and Keokuk which fell to 12°. Another night in the single digits tonight will be followed by a warmup with highs reaching the 40s before the next storm rolls in Wednesday and Thursday which will bring rain and snow to the state. It’s too early to determine accumulations of snow or amounts of rain.
