There will be a strong system passing by to the south, which will effect our area. but the brunt of it looks to hit places like La Crosse to Oshkosh, where I know OSNW3, who lives in Oshkosh,WI I will be keeping an eye on his snowfall totals, everyone please see OSNW3 Blog for info on this storm in that area. Most of the heaviest snows will go south of our area, but there will be some minor accumulations around here. Especially in the south, and eastern areas. It now looks like The best chance for snow will be Tuesday Night and Wednesday, snow might come down moderate at times and it Also looks like winds will be gusty. Accumulations, there will be 1 to 2 to up to 3 inches of accumulation for areas like Menomonie to Hudson. North to Barron, Cameron to Rice Lake, Even less farther north and west, looks like around one an inch to 1.50 for places like and Siren and Spooner. Temps will be mild at first but then get cooler Wednesday night with a passing cold font.
Tuesday Mild, Cloudy with a chance of snow late in the day Highs in the low 30s to mid 30s with breezy southeast winds . Tuesday Night, Mild with a good chance of snow especially in the south and eastern areas. lows in the low to mid 20s.
Wednesday, Cooler a good chance of snow with gusty northwest winds Highs in the mid 20s Wednesday Night, a chance of snow, colder lows just above or below zero.
Looking Ahead Thursday though Saturday we will be under an Arctic Airmass highs will be in the teens with lows just above or below zero looks like a Slight snow chance too, By Sunday and Monday we have warmer air coming in. More on this later!
