Right now a band of light to moderate showers (There is no lightning) is currently moving through the state. The leading edge of the rain was situated from Storm Lake to Jefferson to the western Des Moines Metro to Chariton to Seymour. This showers are moving NE around 30 mph. The latest outlook still shows a risk for Severe Weather in SW Iowa, the main risks now would be strong winds. The hail and isolated tornado threat has diminished.
