Light to Moderate rain continues in the eastern part of Iowa this afternoon from St. Ansgar to Independence to the Quad Cities and from Burlington to Keokuk. The rain should be out of the state within the next 90 minutes. Amounts have been generally under 1/4 of an inch. The Slight Risk of Severe Weather has gone away at the last SPC Outlook at 2pm, however an isolated storm is still possible with the chances of the storm producing strong winds given the low level shear. Those chances will be gone by sunset this evening.
