Depending on where you are in the state and if you still have snow on the ground really makes the difference in the temperatures today. Places that still have the snow are stuck in the 30s and 40s while areas that don’t have snow have jumped all the way into the 60s. Keokuk was at 64° at 2pm while the coldest reading in the state was 35° at Mason City. Tonight will begin a nightly dose of fog in areas that still have a snowpack. It may be dense at times in some river valleys and some advisories may be issued. Tomorrow will be a tad warmer with all areas at least hitting 40 with many areas south of the Interstate 80 easily surpassing 50 again, if not 60.
