Here is the final precipitation totals for 2008 at selected cities across Iowa and surrounding states. Most places in Iowa were 5-15 inches above average for the year. The notable exception is in NW Iowa where rainfall was near or slightly below average. This extends northward into Minnesota and the Dakotas.
