A cold windy night as temperatures begin to fall below zero again across the northern part of the state. Readings will bottom out between 5 above in the south and 10 to 15 below in the north. Adding to the unpleasant bitter cold will be biting northwest winds of 10-20 mph with occaisional gusts over 30, that will bring wind chills down to 20-30 below zero at times. The cold weather will last through the weekend into the beginning of next week when temperatures will begin moderating again.
