Bitter Cold and More Snow

If it wasn’t bad enough with temperature readings this morning well below zero, another round of 1 to as much as 5 inches of snow is expected late tonight through Wednesday with another Alberta Clipper that will scream southeastward across the state. Winter Weather Advisories are being issued for the NE half of Iowa for tonight through Wednesday morning where the heaviest snow will be. Readings this morning ranged from 0 to -20° across the state. After this next push of bitter cold temperatures Thursday and Friday morning could easily fall to -25° in some locations, mainly in the valleys in NE Iowa.
