Some updated amounts are still coming in, but here is the final tally of snowfall from Friday and Saturday’s snow. (Any more updates will be put on this post) The heaviest fell mainly in a 15-25 mile wide band along US Hwy 30 from Boone to Ames to Toledo to Cedar Rapids to Anamosa, with lighter amounts on either side of that. Snow has ended this afternoon and the sun has reappeared which will help in melting the snow off the roads.
