I told my viewers I would be posting a special post this weekend, here it is! 

The Village of Clayton will be 100 years old this year, since it was Incorporated as a community in October of the year 1909! Clayton which started out as a Sawmill on Lake Camila before the year 1880. the community was finally Incorporated as a village in 1909, before the Railroad track was built in 1874 and Clayton became a stop for the train. Many of buildings in Historic downtown have now been there for over 100 years! some of the business like the Citizens Bank have served Clayton for just as long. Plans have already started to celebrate 100 years of the Clayton Community on Clayton Cheese days, which for this special occasion will actually last 4 days instead of the normal 3 days. There may be a Fair with rides which is something that’s has not happened in Clayton for a long time. There have also been talk that they Maybe putting in a Community Library, and in a section of the building they would set up a place where people can see photos and Items of Clayton’s history. The O-Kay-0 Dairy Farm 1 Mile south of Clayton and can be easily seen from town, is owned by My Aunt and Uncle, the Olson family. The farm will turn 100 this year along with Clayton. The Barn has the year it was built written in rocks on the side of the building, which I thought was really neat the way the colors were put in. This barn has had many moderation’s between the years, but it is still in full use today. The barn holds about 60 milking dairy cows Which produces milk for Cheese. There is also many calves that raised for milking later. The Farm also changed over the years one of the changes is a new Silo which has been built and is likely one of the tallest Silos in the area, Ruth and Odell say that operation in this 100 year old barn will continue!
