The last few days and the next few days have been and will be a nice break from the horrible winter weather we could be getting this time of year. No shoveling snow off driveways, or brushing snow off vehicles, no scraping ice. This will last at least until Friday when a new storm will move in from the northwest. There is an indication now that it won’t get as cold as previously thought behind the storm, but still temperatures will fall into the teens for highs and lows around 0 for the weekend. Until then, there will be a mix of sun and clouds with a slight chance of a few flurries here and there as most of the moisture is to the south and east of the state where a severe weather event could take place later today in the Deep South.
