Today is New Year’s Eve. The weather is cooler today than in the past few days. This morning temperatures were back in the single digits above and below zero except SE Iowa were some teens held on. A slight warming trend will take shape as we go into 2009, with temperature near or slightly above average for the next week. Highs will generally be in the upper 20s to mid 30s with lows in the teens each night. A light dusting of snow will come tomorrow to bring in the new year with the next big storm coming in this weekend.
