Numerous highways in Iowa have road conditions that are serious enough for travel to not be advised tonight. The roads with travel not advised include Interstate 35 from Des Moines northward. US Hwy 20 from Dubuque west to Sac City, US Hwy 30 from Colo to Ogden, All roads heading out of Waterloo and Dubuque and Des Moines. Blizzard or near blizzard conditions are continuing across the northern half of the state. Temperatures have already fallen below zero in NW Iowa and wind chills have fallen to -20° or below. This will continue as arctic weather continues rushing in tonight.
