These are becoming more of a reality this evening and tonight as thunder and lightning are being detected in Nebraska and SW Iowa. This along with Thundersnow will be possible tonight which could lead to heavier totals than forecasted. Freezing rain or sleet is being reported at nearly all reporting stations south of US Hwy 30, with scattered snow reports to the north. Temperatures remain in the teens to mid 20s statewide. These temperatures will be steady or rising slowly throughout the night.
