Light to at times Moderate snow continues through the state at midday. Currently the snow is heaviest in southern Iowa right now. This is likely where the heaviest amounts will be from this storm. The snow is very fluffy and dry in nature. This means it isn’t the kind of snow for making a snowman or a snowball. This is more of a snow for skiing and snowmobiling. Some blowing and drifting may occur, but won’t be a major threat due to the lack of strong wind with this system. Road Conditions continue to get dicey with partly to mostly covered roads west of Interstate 35, and roads to the east becoming partially covered with snow.
