Wind Chill Advisory

A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for Monday for the following counties in Iowa, Bremer, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Franklin, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Winnebago, Worth and Wright that begins at at Midnight and expires at 6pm. A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for Monday for the following counties in Iowa, Monona, Harrison, Shelby, Pottawattamie, Adair, Audubon, Black Hawk, Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Cass, Crawford, Dallas, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hardin, Jasper, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Sac, Story, Tama, Warren and Webster that begins at Midnight and ends at Noon. A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for Monday for the following counties in Iowa, Mitchell, Howard, Winneshiek, Floyd, Chickasaw and Fayette that begins at Midnight and expires at 3pm. Very cold wind chills of -15 to -25° will effect the advisory area on Monday. Strong NW winds coupled with temperatures in the single digits will lead to these dangerous wind chills. Take precautions if you have to be out on Monday. It will only take a few minutes before frostbite sets in. These advisories may be expanded as necessary.
