Temperatures will drop throughout the day today with strong and gusty northwesterly winds. The sky has already cleared in western and parts of central Iowa, but a few snow showers will continue until sunset. Wind Chills will drop below zero by this afternoon, some areas already have wind chills there this morning. The winds will diminsh this evening and the temperatures will drop to near zero again, before another storm moves in late Sunday.
