A Winter weather advisory has been issued which will go into effect at 6pm tonight and be in effect until 6pm Sunday evening for the following counties in Iowa, Appanoose, Black Hawk, Clarke, Davis, Decatur, Grundy, Hardin, Jasper, Lucas, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Monroe, Polk, Poweshiek, Story, Tama, Wapello, Warren and Wayne.
A Winter Weather Advisory has also been issued which will go into effect at 6pm and be in effect until Midnight Monday morning for the following counties in Iowa, Benton, Linn, Iowa, Johnson, Keokuk, Washington, Jefferson, Henry, Van Buren and Lee.
Finally, A Winter Weather Advisory has also been issued which will go into effect at Midnight Sunday morning and be in effect until 6am Monday morning for the following counties in Iowa, Jones, Jackson, Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine, Scott, Louisa and Des Moines.
Accumulations of 2-4 inches of snow are possible with some locally higher amounts possible in all areas under these Advisories. This will lead to some slick spots on untreated roads. The snow will be light to moderate at times with visibilities under a mile in some cases. Use Caution when traveling later tonight through Monday morning.
