There already is some snow and some mixed precip in the southern and southwestern part of Iowa this morning. This is the storm that will move across the state today and into early Sunday. Amounts have not changed significantly, with 1-2 inches of snow possible east of a Algona to Nevada to Centerville line. Some localized higher amounts are possible in SE Iowa south of a Ottumwa to Wapello line where up to 3-4 inches of snow are possible. The precip will begin today as rain or some sleet across the state and switch to snow tonight. The snow will end by midday Sunday. This will not cause a lot of travel issues, but the roads could become slippery Sunday night especially the secondary roads.
