The lows this morning are now official. It dropped to 0 this morning in Spencer, 2 in Estherville, 3 in Mason City and Sheldon. Single digits in Sioux City, Waterloo, Ames, Ottumwa and Cedar Rapids. This afternoon, temperatures have rebounded into the 20s and 30s. The wind has switched directions and is now southerly, bringing in warmer if you can call it warm weather. A weak system will move through tonight into Saturday that could bring a few snow showers to the state. Little accumulation is likely. If there is any, it will mainly be in the western part of the state and be under an inch. Thankgiving looks ok right now with temperatures in the 40s with partly cloudy skies.
