The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6am Tuesday morning for the following counties in Iowa, Adair, Audubon, Carroll, Cass, Crawford, Dallas, Greene, Guthrie, Jasper, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Polk, Poweshiek, Sac and Warren. These counties have been added to the previous counties under this advisory. Snow, Sleet and Freezing rain are ongoing in central and western Iowa. Travel may become hazardous as the night progresses. Additional counties to the east may be added later tonight.
