The winds have died down somewhat early this afternoon but are still gusting to 30mph statewide. Temperatures are struggling to get out of the 30s in some places with low 40s elsewhere. Winds will die down tonight leading to very cold temperatures with lows tonight falling into the teens and lower 20s, with the coldest readings in the NW part of the state. Warm weather will return later in the week and temperatures will again be above average by Halloween with temperatures well into the 60s by then.
