The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a Freeze Warning for the following counties in Iowa, Benton, Linn, Jones, Jackson, Iowa, Johnson, Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine, Scott, Keokuk, Washington, Louisa, Jefferson, Henry, Des Moines, Van Buren and Lee. This will go into effect at 1am Monday and continue until 9am Monday morning. This will effectively end the growing season statewide as temperatures drop below freezing tonight over the entire state and into areas where a hard freeze as yet to occur.
