It still looks like a lot of rain will fall with a cut-off low that will be slow to move mid week across the area. The heaviest rain will fall in the western part of the state with amounts up to 2 inches possible there. The rest of the state may see at least 1/2-3/4 of an inch from this storm with isolated amounts higher. Any chances of snow have greatly diminished as most of the moisture will move off before the temperature gets down to the point where snow may mix in with the rain although it still is possible that this might occur on Friday. But the chances of snow will continue to increase as colder and colder air pushes south from Canada.
