Rain continues to fall in the eastern part of the state while the sky has begun to clear out west. Rainfall amounts through 7am showed widespread 1/4-1/2 inch amounts, with the heavier totals up to an inch from near Hampton and Allison to Shenandoah. Rainfall will continue to mount in SE Iowa with at least 1/2 inch storm totals there. Temperatures will remain in the upper 40s and low 50s for the rest of the day. Gusty NW winds will continue in the western part of the state through sunset and will move eastward throughout the day.
