Rain has moved into most of the state, except the SE where it has remained dry for the time being. The heaviest rain was located west of Fort Dodge to Sac City and also along the US Hwy 30 corridor from Ames westward to Denison. The rain continues moving to the NE and will overspread the entire state during the overnight hours. Rainfall amounts of 1/2 inch will be common across the state with some areas receiving up to an inch in isolated areas. The rain will move out of the state Wednesday evening before another chance of rain moves in Friday.
