A freeze warning has been issued from 4am until 9am Tuesday for the following counties in Iowa, Lyon, Osceola, Dickinson, Sioux, O’Brien, Clay, Plymouth and Woodbury. A frost advisory has been issued until 9am for the following counties in Iowa, Emmet, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Monona, Harrison, Buena Vista, Cherokee and Ida.

Clear skies and light winds will cause temperatures to fall into the upper 20s and low 30s in the freeze and frost areas. Plants need to be covered or moved indoors if you wish to save them.
