Warm weather will return to Iowa this weekend with temperatures heading into the mid 70s to lower 80s. This is due to a major trough out west that will build a large ridge over the midwest. Southerly winds will transport the warm weather in. Saturday will have statewide temperatures in the 70s to low 80s and Sunday will be about 3-5 degrees cooler.
