This afternoon brought dry air into the state with low dewpoints prevelent. Dewpoints were mainly in the 40s with a few places down to the 30s. Temperatures this afternoon were in the upper 60s to mid 70s, thus with the low dewpoints producing very low humidity values (under 40% in many areas). The dry air will continue until this weekend, but humidity will slowly increase as the weekend closes in.
