Fall color on a Soft Maple Tree October 2nd

The past few days cloudy weather is really help to make Fall colors show in the Clayton Area, I’m reporting 45% color, Birch Basswood,Maples and Ash trees are showing bright colors some Oak and Poplar trees are just starting to show a hint of color. Maple and Ash trees that turned early are losing leaves, I’ve already seen a few ash trees completely bare. Color is Widespread all across the areas of the northern counties Grantsburg is reporting 60% color Luck is reporting 55% color and Rice Lake is reporting 55% color I’ve seen the color at Rice Lake there is a lot of Orange and Yellow in that area. areas south a little less color. Menomonie and Hudson is reporting 30% color.
