Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon in eastern Nebraska along a cold front. They will move into Iowa this evening and overnight mainly south of US Hwy 20. These storms are expected to not be severe although in Nebraska there is a slight risk for severe weather for large hail and damaging winds. There will be another chance of rain Monday in the eastern 2/3rds of the state along the cold front as it pushes through. After the frontal passage, temperatures will be a lot cooler, with highs in the 60s to low 70s.
