Thunderstorms continue to develop across the western part of Iowa along a front that is slowing down. Most of the storms were west of a line from Decorah to Lamoni, with the heaviest storms southwest of Des Moines. These storms may briefly be severe in those areas and generally weaken as they move NE. Some areas have recieved numerous storms tonight and some flooding is possible in areas with repeated thunderstorm activity. These storms should continue the rest of the night slowly dissipating as they go.
