At noon, temperatures have already climbed into the middle to upper 70s, but it’s the upper 50s to low 60 degree dewpoints that’s making it feel more like a mid summer day. A south breeze will temper the humidity somewhat today. Winds will generally be 10-20mph with gusts to 30 today.
Tonight’s football games will be perfect, unlike last week’s sloppy fields and pouring rain from the front/Lowell. There is a slight chance of a thunderstorm in far NW Iowa after midnight tonight however. These storms are not expected to be severe. The next best chance of rain will likely be Sunday night into Monday and then again on Tuesday.
