A few isolated showers will continue in the eastern part of Iowa through the evening hours. A tenth or two of an inch is possible with these showers as they move off to the east. The remnant of Hurricane Ike is well off to the east of the state moving at 50mph to the northeast. It was located 40 miles west of Toledo Ohio 2 hours ago.
For the rest of the week, the weather in Iowa will remain calm and quiet with temperatures a few degrees below average starting the week and gradually warming up.
