Hurricane Ike made landfall a little past 2am at Galveston Texas. The storm will produce heavy rain as it moves northward. Its effects on Iowa are still sketchy but some rain from it may skirt the SE part on Sunday, otherwise it will be partly to mostly cloudy and breezy with winds out of the E or NE.
