Below are links to the GFDL and HWRF Models 18Z run for Sunday at 1pm CDT. Note the difference between the models.

The GFDL which has been having Ike move more swiftly has the center NNE of St Louis, (in a similiar position to Gustav), while the HWRF has the center in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. Mind you, these are just two of many models the NHC uses for their forecast. Take them at your own risk. Ike is expected to make landfall Friday evening just south of Galveston, after that we’ll see what effects it will have here. (See Post below about the heavy rainfall potential)
