The Cloud cover you seen this morning is from the remains of Hurricane Gustav! there is also even light east winds! While we have the cloud cover, Southern and Eastern Wisconsin are getting the heavy rain. but it not just there that is effected by the rain, there is a huge swath of rain from Missouri to Indiana back to Michigan then west into Iowa!! There is even some Lake Shore Flood Statements issued for the counties surrounding southern Lake Michigan for Strong Northeast winds that will cause strong rip currents. So this is proof that the remains of some hurricanes can effect Wisconsin, even Northwest Wisconsin! although it does not happen that often! Yesterday the forecast called for Sunshine but now it looks like these clouds will stick around. though there might be some clearing, especially in the Western counties. Cloudy conditions may even stick around though Friday. then Chances of Rain increase this weekend. there is a chance of rain from tomorrow night though Monday! it will also be cool with temperature only around the upper 60s to 70!
