The rain has moved out of the state. Rainfall amounts were up to 2+ inches in SE Iowa from this storm, most other places recieved at least 1/2 inch east of a Lansing to Lamoni line. There is a chance of rain Friday night into Saturday morning. The rain will likely be in the western part of the state during High School Football and be in western and central Iowa by 10pm. Rainfall may reach 1/4 inch. Saturday, there should be an early shower in the eastern part of the state, which my dampen tailgating in Iowa City for the Iowa vs Florida Int’l Football game. There will be no problems tailgating in Cedar Falls for the UNI game (which is indoors at the Dome) and at the Iowa State game in Ames. Temperatures Saturday will be around 70.
