All of Iowa

Late Evening Scan

A group of showers and isolated thunderstorms were moving across the southeastern part of Iowa. The heaviest activity was located near Montezuma, along a line from Fairfield to Farmington and a cell north of Eldridge in northern Scott County. Rainfall will amount to a few tenths from these showers. The cold front is right along the Mississippi River. Temperatures at 9pm had fallen into the mid 50s in northwest Iowa. Upper 40s will not be out of the question there tonight. Elsewhere lows in the 50s will be commonplace with a 60 degree reading in the SE where the front will move through shortly.
