Radar showed some hefty thunderstorms (non-severe) in northern Missouri. These storms are moving ENE and may effect areas south of a Lamoni to Muscatine line through sunset. Other thunderstorms may develop later this afternoon mainly east of Interstate 35. In Iowa a few showers were located south southeast of Omaha (part of a decaying line of showers mentioned earlier in the day) and a small cell in northern Jackson County in east central Iowa. Any storms that develop will bring heavy rain and possibly small hail and wind gusts to 40 mph as they move through.
