Some light fog is possible towards morning across the state. Temperatures will fall to the 50s, with some upper 40s in the colder locations. Labor Day weekend is going to be fabulous with temperatures in the 80s with low humidities. By Monday, the temperatures may approach 90 degrees in a few locations with elevated dewpoints ahead of the next storm system.
It’s unclear as to whether the next storm system, (which is expected to move in Tuesday afternoon and evening through Wednesday night) will have any moisture from Gustav which should be inland in Louisiana at that time. If not, rainfall may be up to a half inch in most locations Tuesday night through Wednesday across the state. Meteorlogical Fall begins on Monday.
